Scene: Elephants are loose in Xinca. People run for all they're worth through this maze of a city.
And where are all the gods?
(Quick flash, then to next setting/scene.)
Setting: Forest somewhere. (Fifth Element)
Scene: Anubis poses in the middle of a storm he created. He holds his septre held high and assumes a self-important air.
Setting: Near the rocky cliffs. (Fifth Element)
Scene: Anubis makes strange faces as mud oozes over him. It hardens in a flash, and he is once more a fallen and trapped god.
Where's the streetwise Hercules
Setting: Away from the Terron arena. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: One little trip, and already Tao gets turned around. Dar whistles to get his attention, then gestures with his head toward the right direction.
to fight the rising odds?
Setting: The Burning Forest. (Circle of Life)
Scene: Three very big, very mean looking, sentinels come out of the woods to confront Dar and Tao. Ketzwayo orders them to attack.
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Setting: Terron camp. (Rescue)
Scene: Tao, wearing Terron clothing, makes his escape from the Terrons by using a stubborn white donkey with Zad-markings on its rump.
Late at night I toss and I turn
Setting: Arakahn, Arina's hut. (Serpent's Kiss)
Scene: Arina starts to fret in her sleep, then sits up suddenly, as if awakened by her dreams.
and I dream of what I need.
Setting: The Apparition's lair. (Burning Forest)
Scene: The Sorceress lays on her side on the floor after the Apparition zaps her with magical sleeping gas.

Setting: Top of the waterfall. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Dar is in his seeing-through-Sharak's-eyes posture as he surveys his world from a bird's eye view.
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night.
Setting: Terron camp, Zad's yurt. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Kyra lays on the crystal and snake protected bed, eyes open, as if in a day dream.
He's gotta be strong
Setting: Edge of a cliff. (The Choice)
Scene: Dar does a belly flop and, with one hand, grabs Tao in just the nick of time.
and he's gotta be fast
Setting: Somewhere between Sanctuary and Tolphet. (The Island)
Scene: At the first hint of trouble, Dar is on the run.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight.
Setting: Terron arena. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Dar does an excellently choreographed fight with the Terrons in the arena. When it's over, Dar is the only one left standing..

Setting: Namib holy ground. (Serpent's Kiss)
Scene: Dar gives Zad a big smile, as if to say, 'is that your best shot?'

Scene: Kyra is led into the arena with a group of women and Tao. They are forced to their knees to wait their turn with the hungry tigers.
He's gotta be sure
Setting: At "the end of the world". (Chosen One)
Scene: Dar steps off a cliff into the mists, and finds he can walk on thin air.
and it's gotta be soon
Setting: The island off of Tolphet. (The Island)
Scene: Tao and Nylus are trapped in the bamboo cages, and their windchimes are rattling...
And he's gotta be larger than life!

Scene: The winged creatures surrounding Dar and Sharak all go one knee.

Scene: It is after dark. Dar tries to figure out the shell game while Tao sleeps nearby.

Setting: Somewhere in the forest. Night. (The Minatour)
Scene: In Tao's dreams, it's morning, and he can fight a group of Terrons as well as Dar.
Somewhere just beyond my reach,
Setting: Terron camp, Zad's yurt. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Kyra sits on the bed, leaning forward as far as she dares. The snake-entwined crystals keep her from reaching further.
there's someone reaching back for me.
Setting: Terron camp, Zad's yurt. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Dar is on his knees on the floor of the yurt. His hand is out and his face is contorted. He desperately wants to fight the invisible barrier between the crystal pillars just to touch Kyra one more time.
Racing on the thunder
Setting: Field by a lake. (Circle of Life)
Scene: Curupira-thunder sounds off on a beautiful day. Dar jumps up and races toward it.
and rising with the heat
Setting: The Burning Forest. (The Burning Forest)
Scene: The Apparition and the Sorceress watch an image of Dar and Sharak on a screen of flame as the men progress through the Burning Forest.
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet.
Setting: Somewhere in a field of tall, brown grass. (Circle of Life)
Scene: Curupira, unhappy with notes Ketzwayo left her, knocks Tao off his feet and into a nearby bush.

Scene: Dar steps between Anubis and Tao. He holds his staff weapon up, blade side toward Anubis, in a don't-you-even-think-of-it manner.

Scene: Arina is staked down on the ground in the hot sun. Above her is a wide chunk of rock with swords attached. It hangs by a rope, which is in the path of a burning candle.
He's gotta be strong
Setting: Xinca. (Clash of the Titans)
Scene: Dar catches the rope holding stone and swords just as it slips toward Arina.
and he's gotta be fast
Setting: Xinca. (Clash of the Titans)
Scene: Dar saws through Arina's bindings, freeing her just as the swords in the stone comes crashing down.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight.
Setting: Xinca. (Clash of the Titans)
Scene: Dar fights the armed Nords without aide of his staff weapon. Still, it is only a matter of time before Dar is done with them.

Scene: Tao is about to throw his jade ring away. Dar stops him from doing something he will regret.

Scene: It is early morning. Tao is tied down on an altar. The Blood Priest surround him. Maloc raises his cutting stone...
He's gotta be sure
Setting: Xinca. (Xinca)
Scene: Dar swipes the cutting stone from Maloc's hand with his staff weapon just as Maloc brings it down on Tao.
and it's gotta be soon
Setting: The island in the river off of Tolphet. (The Island)
Scene: Dar lets go of Tao just in time to catch Hazel as she falls from the hanging cage.
And he's gotta be larger than life!

Scene: Dar's body is painted with Namib glyphs. He stands tall, a crystal egg in his hands, as he performs the G'Far ceremony.

Scene: The Ancient One walks out over thin air, disappears a moment, then shows his face using the clouds around him.

Scene: Dar and Tao sails the seas on a boat with a "skirt".

Scene: Dar looks at his new pendant and sees Kyra's face.
Setting: The Aerie. Night. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Using her crystal basin, the Sorceress watches Dar and Tao finally make introductions as they sit around the fire.
Through the wind, and the chill, and the rain
Setting: Outside the cave. (Fifth Element)
Scene: From the relative safety of a cave, Dar watches the unnatural storm; the hurricanes, and the cold, sleeting rain.
And the storm, and the flood,
Setting: River's edge. (Fifth Element)
Scene: Dar, Tao and Iara are climbing up the side of a hill during an Anubis-made storm. A wall of muddy water comes and washes them away.
I can feel his approach like a fire in my blood.
Setting: The cave. (Fifth Element)
Scene: Tao, curled up on himself, suddenly forgets his pain as he catches a scent. He straightens, leaps to his feet, and follows his new senses out into the storm.

Scene: Arina and Tao are both shackled in a dungeon. They watch as Zad adds the Crystal Ark to his collection.

Setting: The large tree the Manlinks are living in. (Manlinks)
Scene: Arina and Dar scale a tall tree, trying to get to the platform above, even while it burns.
and he's gotta be fast
Setting: Near Sanctuary. (The Island)
Scene: Dar and Ruh race. Dar wins, much to Ruh's annoyment.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight.
Setting: Terron camp. Night. (The Legend Continues)
Scene: Dar, glistening with sweat and fire-protectant salve, wields the last stroke that defeats the Chimera

Scene: Dar helps Tao out of the bush using his trusty staff weapon to keep the dangerous branches from slapping back.

Scene: Zad condemns Tao to hanging upside by crossed poles until his blood fills his eyes and his lungs puddle on the ground. (Ewe...)

Scene: Dar pushes Zad out of the way of an incoming boulder.

Scene: Tao is caught in a huge spider web. A large, poisonous spider is moving his way...

Scene: The circus performers hold a puppet show wherein Dar is the star.

Scene: Dar finally gets to hold Kyra as he carries her out of Zad's reach.

Scene: Dar and Tao drink and talk through the night until morning finds them. When it comes time for Tao to leave, Dar decides they should journey together.
